The fun of collecting ink bottles is that there are lots of different types.
Old Pottery and Ceramic Ink Bottles
F. Mordan's Ink. It´s nice to have a dip pen with the Mordan Nib the matching Bottle with
the imprint on the Label. Mordan was made in London England.
Next the Victorian Ink Bottle, it´s known as the 1d Bottle made in England.
In the U.S.A. at about the same time 1865 to 1890 Carter started in 1865.
Glass bottles with Labels
Waterman Globe Ink Bottle each with
different Labels, these ink appear in our new Waterman Book
"Waterman Past and Present The first Six Decades".
The Desk Top bottles 1920s on page 175.
